Zach also reported that the city received approval for a YDOT behavioral grant worth "not much as what $3,000 something like it." The grant's terms include targeted enforcement during periods when enforcement is expected to be needed and other weekends. The grant supports occupant-safety and seat-belt enforcement and can fund overtime during specified enforcement windows. Council moved and seconded to approve the grant agreement and authorized signatures; the motion carried.
