Board hears updates on Restore the 4 locomotive, Clallam Bay quarters and local events

County interest exists in partnering after environmental abatement and transfer, but members noted those dependencies slow progress.

Community events and other updates: Members described the recent tribal canoe journeys hosted at Lower Elwha, including the presentation of a carved totem and participation by tribal representatives. The board also recounted a community Ozette potato dig that yielded seed potatoes for distribution to local gardeners.
