Board approves PACE final draws for four rehab projects, checks to applicant entities

The Board of Public Works and Safety approved final payouts under the PACE program for four properties at its Nov. 3 meeting.

Staff presented final draw documentation and photos for 302 and 304 West Street, 518 Jefferson Street and 1725 Allen Street. The packet shows each of these items as a final approval and includes a $25,000 first draw or final draw amount on the cover sheets for several files. Staff noted three of the submissions list Covert Grove Properties as the applicant on the W‑9; therefore checks will be issued to the applicant entity on file so that year‑end 1099 reporting matches the submitted tax documents.

Board members approved the finals by voice vote. Staff and applicants said the rehabilitations included tuckpointing, façade restoration, window replacement and interior work; presenters provided after photos showing completed exterior work.

Board members thanked the applicants and noted the visible improvements to downtown blocks and hilltop neighborhoods.
