School-week announcements, Nov. 3, 2025

A district staff member delivered a brief bulletin on Monday, Nov. 3, 2025, for the Yorktown Central School District. The speaker announced a Board of Education meeting at 7 p.m. in the Mildred East Strang Middle School cafeteria and invited the public to attend.

The speaker said picture retakes are scheduled this week at Brookside, the middle school and the high school, and noted two events on Wednesday, Nov. 5: the Mohansec second-grade concert at 9:30 a.m. and Yorktown High School's financial aid night at 6:30 p.m. in the high school auditorium.

The bulletin closed with a reminder that schools will be closed Tuesday, Nov. 11, in observance of Veterans Day and a brief expression of thanks to those who have served.
