Leo High School Choir honored by Cook County after America's Got Talent finals run

The choir performed in the chamber. President Dan McGrath and Principal Rawls spoke afterward, commending the students for representing Chicago on a national stage and praising staff who organized rehearsals, travel and wardrobes for the LA competition. Principal Rawls said the experience was a major undertaking for a small school and thanked county leaders for the recognition. "It was quite an undertaking to have a crowd that size out in L.A. for the better part of three weeks, and trying to go to school, and rehearse and wardrobes and everything that they went through," Rawls said.
