Staff estimated the Kubota vehicles alone at about $109,000 and the entire package (machines, attachments and plows) at roughly $130,000. They said project budgets have reserved the funds and that purchasing will bring formal contract items forward at the next legislative session or on the consent agenda as required.
Commissioners asked about storage and year‑round use; staff said the equipment will be stored at county operations facilities, used year‑round for field maintenance, and would not be used on parking lots or other non‑synthetic surfaces.
No action was taken at the briefing; staff will proceed with procurement steps and bring formal purchasing items to the board.
