Staff explained the original agreement included options for two additional years and recommended exercising those options. Council members said they were satisfied with service to date and noted that AMR has been a source of personnel for the fire department.
The council took a roll-call vote and recorded unanimous approval for resolution 2025-34 to extend ambulance services for two years. Staff said AMR is actively recruiting to backfill any positions as personnel shift into municipal roles.
