Marketing and events staff reviewed recent attendance and upcoming community events during the Oct. 27 council meeting.
Manny, a member of the communications team, thanked public works, vendors and volunteers and reported about 2,000 people attended the Monster Dash. He noted upcoming events: a Ministry of Magic/Weasleys Harry Potter event at Be Kind Coffee on Oct. 29; a historic marker unveiling for the old Clemons School at Boy Hill on Oct. 30 at 1 p.m.; a holiday pop‑up market on Nov. 23 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Jerry Long Family YMCA; and the annual tree lighting on Dec. 2 at 5:30 p.m. at Village Hall with live entertainment and activities. Manny credited Events Coordinator Lynette Fox for organizing the programs and said details are on the village website and Facebook page.
Council acknowledged public works and events staff for outreach support; no council action was taken on events.
