Manager Gannell updated the council on progress at the Village Pointe Operations Center site, reporting that construction remains on schedule.
Gannell said grading at the site is about 95% complete and the cul‑de‑sac is approximately 75% done. He noted that site fencing and erosion‑control stormwater devices are installed, footings have been dug, rebar set for vertical walls, and lower‑level plumbing and electrical conduit installed. He also reported favorable soil conditions — “Great soil, no rock, no unsuitable soil” — and said the pictures shown were taken about a week earlier.
Council had no questions during the update and Gannell said staff meets weekly with the contractor and architect to monitor progress.
