Staff briefed the Cooper City Planning & Zoning Board on several pending development items during the Nov. 3 meeting.
Toll Brothers has taken over the Hansen project and submitted for DRC review a plan for two model homes and a sales-office tent parking lot; staff said the applicant hopes to appear before the Planning & Zoning Board in December (the board discussed dates of Dec. 1 and Dec. 15). Staff also said a McDonald's project is in DRC and likely to appear before the board in January, and a minor residential variance for a handicap-related change is also likely to be scheduled in January.
Staff noted the Hansen farmhouse parcel remains under discussion and Toll Brothers indicated plans to incorporate the farmhouse parcel into the development with a new house and Griffin Road access; demolitions and final site timing depend on the developer's purchase and submittal schedule.
Ending
Staff will return with formal applications; board members asked staff to coordinate calendar dates for December and January hearings.
