Mariposa County accepts two Water Agency resignations, reappoints Sonny Palmer

The Board accepted the resignations of Mike Gunther (District 2) and John McCammon (District 5) from the Water Agency Advisory Board and reappointed Walt “Sonny” Palmer to the District 3 seat through April 26, 2028. Board members thanked departing volunteers for their service.
Public Works Director Shannon Hanson asked the board to accept resignations from two Water Agency Advisory Board members and to reappoint Walt "Sonny" Palmer to District 3.
Hanson said both departing members had provided long service and that their institutional knowledge would be difficult to replace. The board members thanked Mike Gunther and John McCammon for their service.
The board voted unanimously to accept the resignations and to reappoint Sonny Palmer for an additional term through April 26, 2028.
