On a roll-call vote the board recorded seven yes votes and one no. Missus Allen and Missus Barbian voted yes; Mister Coe voted no; Missus Doxey, Miss Harris, Mister O'Connell, Miss Villar/Valar, and Miss Walker Cleveland voted yes. The board president said the exception would allow discussion tonight and that any formal amendment would be returned for a later business meeting vote.
The action clears the way for staff and board members to review OE‑4 during a work session, with administration scheduled to return at a future governance meeting with recommended language and implementation indicators for board review.
