Hardee County moves ahead on Pioneer Park bathhouse, prefab buildings and park Wi‑Fi

The architect and general contractor S Works have provided proposals and staff said they are “going back with a really fine pencil” to reduce costs and ensure the project fits the available construction funds. Keane said about 84% of architecture and engineering funding is completed and roughly 35% of site development funds have been used.
On park Wi‑Fi, staff reported installation of conduit, electrical and communication lines is underway, five of nine access points at Pioneer Park are active, and fiber has been ordered to connect Hardy Lakes and the RV area. The county will perform load testing before enabling public access to ensure reliability.
