At its Nov. 4 meeting the Fresno County Board of Supervisors recognized Michael Wynne of the sheriff's office for 21 years of service, praising his leadership, experience, reliability and humility.
The board also proclaimed Nov. 11, 2025, as Veterans Day in Fresno County and proclaimed November as Sikh Heritage Month, celebrating the contributions of the Sikh community to the county's culture and history.
A county representative spoke in appreciation of honorees and community members, saying, "On behalf of all of us, we are grateful. We are part of the community, and we really appreciate the work you do, and we stand with you in any time."
