Committee approves redevelopment plan and 10-year abatement for property at 5105 Cabany Avenue

"This tool now more than ever, I'm glad is in the toolbox for people like not only this family but others in so many of these tornado impacted areas," she said.

Zach Wilson of the St. Louis Development Corporation confirmed the application was received before the tornado and said the project is under $1 million, so it did not require a developer packet or the scorecard threshold used for larger projects. Wilson also clarified the tax-abatement map was adopted in 2018 and is updated routinely.
