Aldermen raise neighborhood dog concerns, praise new Future City gym and distribute resource list amid federal shutdown

Cole also praised the new Future City gym, telling colleagues he and others appreciated the work the mayor and board did to complete the facility and said he played there recently.
Joey Harrison and other aldermen provided updates on local street work, listing neighborhoods (Roland Meadows, Cotton Below and East Ironburn) where crews are due to finish work by either the coming Thursday or the following Monday. Several members said they would continue to monitor progress.
Alderman Dennis distributed a county community resource list to help residents who may be affected by a continuing federal government shutdown; members were urged to use the list to direct constituents to available assistance.
