At the Nov. 4 meeting the Norwalk City Council took the following formal actions:
• Consent calendar: Council approved nine consent items by roll-call vote (unanimous ayes). No public speakers were recorded for the consent calendar.
• Appointment: Council approved the nomination of Elmer Bizuela to the Senior Commission, administered the oath of office and recorded the appointment.
• Ordinance (item 11): Council introduced ordinance 25-1761 by title only to adopt the 2025 California Building Standards Codes with local amendments and scheduled the public hearing and adoption for Nov. 18, 2025 (roll-call vote: unanimous Aye).
• Resolution (item 12): Council adopted resolution 25-52 approving the second amendment to the ground lease, an easement agreement and CC&Rs for the WALK/PrimeStore project; the resolution passed on a unanimous roll-call vote.
