Fluhart asked for more time to consult an attorney and assemble witnesses.
Joshua Champlin, Kern County public works director, told the board the list in question aggregates county costs for abatement of code violations and that Fluhart's parcel is one of many included. Champlin said staff would remove that specific item from the consent bundle, meet with Fluhart, and potentially return the case to the board as a standalone item. Al Rojas later provided a revised fiscal impact for the consent package of $352,735.66 after removing items 8 n, 8 i, and 8 h.
The board moved and seconded the consent agenda as revised. The clerk called the vote and recorded unanimous approval.
