Board recognizes student achievements, approves FFA overnight travel to state contest

Haywood County School Board recognized student and staff achievements and approved overnight travel for FFA students advancing to the state soil judging contest.
Administrators presented a recognition for Carson Osteen, the West Tennessee Regional FFA Vice President, and acknowledged multiple students and staff for TBAS Level 5 growth and Level 3–4 achievements across the district. Staff invited honorees to the front for photographs and applause.
Separately, the board approved overnight travel for the FFA team to Cookeville in October so students can compete at the state soil judging contest. The motion to accept the travel request was moved by Ms. Reed and seconded by Mr. Benstor and carried by voice vote.
