Supervisors Joel Anderson and Jim Desmond presented a proclamation recognizing the second annual Disabled Veterans Resource Fair, and praised county assessor Jordan Marks’ office for outreach that has increased uptake of disabled veterans’ property tax exemptions.
Separately, the board recognized the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps anniversary milestones and invited retired Colonel Daniel Whitley to accept remarks on behalf of Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton and the local military community.
