Audit committee chair Felix Rivera says he will step down from role

Committee chair Felix Rivera announced at the Oct. 30 meeting that he will ‘‘be transitioning out of my position as chair of this committee shortly’’ and that the assembly chair will select a new committee chair. He said he may continue as a committee member depending on assembly decisions.
Rivera thanked committee members, municipal staff and the BDO audit team for their work over the years. No formal personnel action or nomination occurred during the meeting; the assembly chair will follow normal appointment procedures.
