Board of Ethics to draft code clarifications after Assembly receptive to 2024 annual report

Paul said he would prepare specific suggested language and asked that the board consider whether to submit those proposed clarifications to the Assembly. Several members said they supported discussing drafted language at the next regular meeting and reviewing any additional areas that have caused uncertainty, citing a prior sign-in issue at City Hall as an example of unclear language.
Board members agreed to place code-clarification language on a future agenda; no ordinance or code change was adopted at the meeting.
