Springdale Airport Commission approves amended hangar layout for tenant Billy Collins

A commissioner moved to approve the change “based on the amended drawings.” The motion was seconded and carried on a roll-call vote. Commissioners who recorded votes were Steve Smith (yes), Mike Goff (yes), Joel Gardner (yes), Greg Collier (yes) and Jim Ulmer (yes); the chair announced the change was approved.
The commission and Collins noted that the approval is for the amended drawings and that Collins must still complete the city's permitting and development-review processes before construction begins. The commission did not adopt any changes to the airport’s lease or waiting-list policies as part of this vote.
Collins said he will proceed with the city's development-review steps and pull permits when ready; the commission closed the item after recording the vote.
