Board schedules follow-ups, hears brief announcements on green restaurant certification and budget workshop timing

Hubbard said staff was continuing to reconcile numbers related to the health-insurance item and that the budget workshop had been rescheduled at the request of several board members until those figures are finalized. "Once we get this approved by you all, next Tuesday, that'll get us I'll be able to give you a firmer answer," the City Manager said regarding the timing.
Director Beck announced a local development: his restaurant was certified last week under the Green Restaurant initiative that the city had paused during the COVID pandemic and has since resumed, and he said the zoo will be the next location to pursue certification. "My restaurant was certified last week. Thank you. The zoo will be next and so stay tuned to the city website," Beck said.
The board noted an appointment scheduled for 5:30 p.m. and then adjourned.
