The design will evaluate options that avoid expanding an undersized box that sits under property owned by Springdale Public Schools.
Fire training equipment: The council approved expenditure of $114,005.97 from a $750,000 state award for regional fire training to purchase a flashover simulator (a live-fire training cell) for the Mickey Jackson Fire Training Center; the remaining award balance was discussed and future requests to draw on the award anticipated. Vote carried 8-0.
Senior center final payment: Council tabled a request to approve a final payment invoice on the Springdale Senior Center project until outstanding punch-list items are completed; the item will return to a future meeting.
