The Envision Needham Center project working group voted Nov. 3 to approve the July 16 and Sept. 10 meeting minutes with corrections requested by committee members.
Committee members raised errors including misspelled names and a passage summarizing business responses to signage. Committee member (unnamed) asked that the Sept. 10 minutes be corrected to reflect that businesses said they would remove signs “once we feel comfortable as businesses with a plan, then we will take our signs down,” a sentence several members said had been omitted from the draft.
After members identified additional name corrections (for example, Eileen Baker and Michael Grice were clarified), the chair called for a motion to approve the minutes as amended. The committee conducted a roll-call vote and recorded unanimous yes votes from the members present. The meeting then moved to the next agenda item.
The approval was procedural and did not authorize changes to any project designs or public materials; committee members said the textual clarifications were intended to reflect the record more accurately.
