At the meeting the council adopted a series of routine resolutions and ordinances, including condemnation and nuisance actions and cleanup-lien certifications. The adopted items, taken principally from the consent and regular agendas, are listed below with the formal identifiers shown at the meeting.
- R25178: Resolution declaring structure at 813 North F Street a public nuisance and condemning the structure; public hearing held, no speakers; resolution adopted. - R25179: Resolution declaring structure at 1704 North Beach Street a public nuisance and condemning the structure; public hearing held, no speakers; resolution adopted. - R25180: Resolution declaring structures at 1411 Springs Road a nuisance; owner Jerry Cox spoke and council adopted the resolution and allowed a 30-day removal period. - R25182: Cleanup lien certification for 1307 Park Parker Street; public hearing called and resolution adopted. - R25183: Cleanup lien certification for 600 West 30 Third Street; public hearing and adoption. - R25184: Cleanup lien certification for 607 West 201st Street; public hearing and adoption. - R25185: Resolution approving and certifying amounts of liens for grass cutting/abatement on multiple properties; public hearing called and resolution adopted.
Other ordinance and conditional-use items with routine votes or first readings included: - O2587: Conditional use to allow an accessory dwelling unit at 406 West Fifth Street (adopted after finding it followed the city's existing ADU ordinance). - O2588: Rezoning 7785 North Shore Drive to allow a medical clinic (readings advanced and adopted as presented). - O2589 and O2590/O2591: Other special-use and conditional-use matters were placed on readings and voted as listed on the agenda.
Where public hearings were required, the council opened and closed hearings; in almost every case no members of the public came forward except where property owners spoke to explain planned abatement or removal actions. Each action carried a roll-call vote recorded in the meeting minutes.
