Public Works reports progress on multiple Owasso capital projects, from Garnett Road to new administration building

Roger Stevens delivered the monthly project status report outlining work underway across multiple capital projects.
Highlights included: survey staking, clearing and start of underground infrastructure work on Garnett Road; installation of signal poles, cabinets and new lanes on the west phase of 90th Street (with a November 1 contract milestone for certain sections); utility relocation activities on other 90th Street phases and right-of-way acquisition in final stages for the segment from 130th to 140th; replacement of about 1,600 linear feet of sewer pipe for the 117th force main project with anticipated completion in January 2026; and construction progress at the Administration and Fleet & Facility Maintenance building where interior and exterior work and surrounding utilities are underway with possible completion acceleration depending on winter weather.
Stevens also said the Ranch Creek Trail environmental study is complete and the land purchase agreement may be presented to council this month if negotiations conclude; otherwise the item will be brought in November. Council members asked schedule questions for specific segments and the contractor performing the 90th Street work (Grade Line) was named.
