The Owasso City Council approved payment of $12,880 to K and D Architects to cover additional site surveying, engineering and updated construction documents for the Parks Maintenance Office project.
Larry Langford told council the original design assumed the existing utility line from the FOR building could serve the new facility, but staff discovered the line is not large enough to meet demand. Additional utility extensions and corresponding engineering work were required, prompting the amendment. Langford said the work has been completed and the amendment reconciles the contract to include the extra scope and fee.
Funding for the additional fee is available in the parks department FY25-26 budget. Council moved, seconded and approved the amendment by roll call.
