Commission Appeals staff asked the Texas Workforce Commission on the record for a letter of continuing jurisdiction in case number 3800446, saying the summary circulated to commissioners before a prior vote failed to note that the determination had been reversed at the determination level. "Commission appeals is requesting a letter of continuing jurisdiction in case number 3800446," staff said.
Commissioner Connock presided over the item. Commissioners Trevino and Esparza each voiced agreement with the staff request during the public record. The commission noted that the earlier decision had been mailed on Oct. 23, 2025, and that the statutory appeal deadline was Nov. 6, 2025; staff reported no appeal had been filed as of the meeting.
The request was placed on the record and commissioners indicated concurrence. The commission did not record any additional substantive action beyond agreeing to consider the procedural material in the continuing-jurisdiction request during the item on docket 45.
