Cass County commissioners on Nov. 5 approved the Warren Second Subdivision plat and a requested variance to classify the plat as a minor subdivision despite the number of lots normally qualifying it as a major subdivision under county ordinance.
Staff said the diversion authority sought to split the Warren plat into two parts to avoid a cross-jurisdiction sign-off issue with West Fargo and that, aside from that variance, the plat is standard and carries the same contingencies as previous diversion-flats plats. The board moved and seconded to accept the plat; roll call recorded support and the motion carried.
No additional conditions, financial assurances, or bond amounts were discussed in the record beyond the standard contingencies applied to similar plats.
