The Green Bay Plan Commission approved Nov. 3 the final plat for the final phase of the Eaton Heights subdivision at 911 Spartan Road. The plat includes 15 single-family lots and a public street dedication that extends Mendota Drive.
Staff noted the project was part of an approved preliminary plat and planned-unit development (PUD) originally approved before the city’s 2050 comprehensive plan; the site’s mixed-residential future land-use designation allows densities in the 8–12 units-per-acre range, and the final plat conforms to that guidance. Staff reported that all review comments on the plat had been addressed.
Because the final plat includes public-street dedication, City Council acceptance is required; staff said this is why the item is forwarded after Plan Commission approval. A motion to approve the final plat passed on a voice vote; Commissioner Giese moved and Commissioner Darius Daniels seconded.
Commissioners received related informational updates during the meeting about ongoing projects in the city, including redevelopment at the JBS site, Redwood Homes and NeighborWorks plans for townhomes, and planning for mixed-use along Chicago and Monroe.
