Chair Haggerty briefly updated the board on the District 8 vacancy. Staff said the district had received nine applications; several applicants were disqualified for not residing in District 8 or for incomplete residence documentation. Using additional consumer data, staff said they had been able to verify domicile for some applicants, and staff asked board members to review candidate folders and the prepared interview questions and to send feedback prior to the interviews.
No appointments or interviews took place during the work session; staff will follow up with board members and schedule interviews.
