Tipp City Council on Nov. 3 approved a resolution amending the employment contract of the city manager to increase salary, following a council performance evaluation.
Mr. Mack explained the resolution reflects an increase to the city manager's salary based on a recent performance review conducted by council. Councilmembers offered public thanks for the manager's service and leadership; one member said the manager had exceeded expectations.
The public hearing produced no speakers. The council voted to approve the contract amendment on roll call. Vote recorded: Mr. Kessler — yes; Mr. Slagle — yes; President Huffman — yes; Mrs. Pittenger — yes; Mr. Liddy — yes; Mr. Insulin — yes; Mayor Rogers — yes. The resolution was filed as Resolution 35-25.
Council directed staff to implement the contract amendment through normal payroll and human resources procedures.
