Board approves consent package, names Elementary No. 12, and takes personnel and contract actions

The board voted to name Elementary No. 12 "Jim and Linda Jacobs Elementary." A motion to approve the recommendation passed by voice vote with no opposition recorded.
Kaufman Central Appraisal District board nominees: Administration recommended re-nominating incumbents for the Kaufman Central Appraisal District board of directors and explained the updated process for counties over 75,000 in population. The board approved a resolution to nominate the recommended candidates and will receive and cast votes when the district receives the official ballot from the appraisal district administrator.
