Ridge Road Fire District donates fire engine to Greece Central—s Responding to Emergencies program

"This incredibly generous donation of this fire truck is a gift that goes far beyond a piece of equipment," McCabe said, noting the truck is a "powerful tool for learning and a symbol of your dedication to our students' successes." Battalion Chief Brian Gebo and other Ridge Road members described a long partnership with district staff and said the vehicle will support hands‑on learning for students interested in firefighting, mechanics and first responder careers.
The board held a short recognition and invited the Ridge Road team and student program participants for a photo. Administrators said the district looks forward to continuing the partnership and leveraging the truck for instruction and community engagement.
