GreenTree Borough recognizes youth baseball and softball teams for 2025 spring season

The proclamation lists regular-season records and playoff or tournament results for several age groups, including an AA softball team that finished 13-1 and won its league bracket and multiple all-star teams that recorded tournament wins at Mount Lebanon, Brookline and Riverview Reserve.
The proclamation text, read during the meeting, credited players, coaches and volunteers with demonstrating “sportsmanship and teamwork” and said the teams “brought the community together in celebration.” Attendees applauded and posed for photographs; council members and the borough manager thanked coaches and volunteers for the hours they contributed to the season.
Council indicated the recognition was symbolic and commended the association’s contribution to recreation and youth participation. No formal action beyond the proclamation was recorded.
