The board reviewed two change‑order items tied to ongoing work. One is a level‑1 order to add a gate at the basketball courts to provide future access; the gate has been ordered but not yet installed. The second is a level‑2 change related to an unforeseen condition: an existing stormwater BMP/rain‑garden protruded into the planned foundation footprint and required excavation, removal of elements, capping of remaining components and reconnection of the system. The district recorded the cost for that remediation as $14,969.
Board members asked whether the rain‑garden location was reflected on as‑built drawings; Draw Collective said the installed BMP had expanded beyond the footprint shown on earlier documents and that the as‑builts did not reflect the condition. The presenter said he would follow up to identify the prior contractor and whether final as‑built drawings were submitted.
The board later approved five construction change orders on the consent agenda by voice vote. The meeting record identifies the change‑order approvals as passed but does not provide a roll‑call tally.
