MCPS honors building service workers and principals; board confirms four administrative appointments

Penn (principal, John L. Gildner Regional Institute for Children and Adolescents). Each candidate was introduced and received a voice vote recorded as unanimous with those present.
Other business: the board approved its fiscal‑year 2026 program‑evaluation work plan and agreed to publish by a board‑set timeline the list of program evaluations for the year. The meeting closed after additional procedural items.
