Kane County schedules Sept. 30 public hearing on proposed agricultural protection area

The notice, dated Sept. 15, 2025, states the advisory committee and the Kane County Planning Commission evaluated the proposal under the criteria in Utah Code 17-41-305 and "recommends approval" of the agricultural protection area proposal. The proposed protected area is described in the notice by a metes-and-bounds legal description and is identified as being in sections 13 and 14, T38S R9W (SLB&M). The parcel is listed as containing approximately 34.83 acres. The county notice reserves "a perpetual non-exclusive easement along the west 20 ft of said land, adjacent to the Corry property" to allow access to develop and maintain the water supply for the remainder of the property retained by Rocki Alice LLC.
