Members clarified the installation would remove one parking spot and that enforcement — including ticketing vehicles that occupy the charging space without charging — depends on whether the location falls inside the downtown enforcement district. The board moved and seconded a motion to approve the reservation with the caveat that the city attorney review and suggest changes to the liability language before the council acts.
The motion passed by voice vote. The matter will go to the Common Council for final approval and for any contract signatures once the attorney—s review is complete.
