WAGONER COUNTY, Okla. — The Board of Commissioners voted on Nov. 3 to raise monthly donations to the county's four senior entities to $800 each.
Commissioner James said the board had not revisited the amounts recently and noted rising food and operating costs. The four recipients identified in the discussion were the county senior citizen center, Rolling Hills, Stone Bluff and Wagoner Senior Citizen (district names used in staff comments). The board approved the increase by motion and roll call.
Commissioners said the change will be entered in the county records and that staff would update the check amounts accordingly.
