Wagoner County pauses enforcement, seeks legal review of Beloved Under Grace transitional home

Wagoner County commissioners on Oct. 14 voted to pause code-enforcement action and asked the District Attorney's Office to perform a targeted legal review of an unpermitted transitional housing facility known as Beloved Under Grace.
Planning staff told the board that the property, owned by Pathway Homes LLC, contains a main house, an outbuilding converted to living quarters and a mobile/"tiny home" unit that was placed on the parcel without recorded permits. Planning consultant Larry Curtis's memo, presented by Casey Sanders, reported that Beloved Under Grace was housing roughly 17 women and had not filed a reasonable-accommodation application. Sanders said the operation therefore exceeded the definition of a group home under state and federal guidance, and the facility was not operating under a land-use approval consistent with the county's Agricultural zoning.
