WAGONER COUNTY, Okla. — Wagoner County staff requested on Nov. 3 to reallocate $509 from the opioid abatement grant's community outreach line to housing and transportation assistance to cover anticipated overages. Planning staff said moving the funds would leave $205 in the community outreach budget for the current quarter.
A staff member said the participating agency had submitted an application and that the request had been prepared in coordination with the agency. Commissioners asked whether the district attorney needed to review the reallocation; staff said they had not been certain a DA review was required. Commissioner James moved to table the request and directed staff to consult with counsel before returning the item to the board.
The motion to table passed on roll call. Staff said they would forward the request and supporting materials to the DA's office and return with recommendations.
