WAGONER COUNTY, Okla. — At its Nov. 3 meeting the Wagoner County Board of Commissioners handled a slate of zoning map amendments, preliminary and final plats, and related land‑use items. Several items were approved on motion and roll call; a subset was tabled for additional review.
Notable outcomes:
- Resolution 2025‑146: proposed code amendment to add "residential substance abuse treatment centers" as a conditional use — TABLED for district attorney review and additional technical review.
- Resolution 2025‑147: proposed subdivision regulation changes (geotechnical/pavement) — board approved the approach (case‑by‑case geotechnical exceptions with an asterisk and project‑specific engineering to return for final approval).
- Final plat Juniper Hills (Res. 2025‑148) — TABLED (drainage/ grading issues; commissioner requested tabling until next week).
- Multiple zoning map amendment requests and plats (Res. 2025‑137, 138, 139, 140, 141, 142, 143, 144, 145, etc.) — the planning and zoning staff presented each; the planning commission had recommended approval for most items and the board approved a majority of them on motion and roll call; a small number were specifically tabled at the request of a commissioner so an absent commissioner could review.
