Augusta council approves routine minutes, appropriation ordinance, JEO amendment and fleet purchase

At its Nov. 3 meeting the Augusta City Council approved the Oct. 20 meeting minutes, an appropriation ordinance (No. 10a dated Oct. 22, 2025), Amendment No. 1 to the JEO agreement to authorize phase 2 design for the Public Works campus, and a purchase agreement for a John Deere Gator UTV budgeted in 2026.

The Augusta City Council approved several routine and operational items on Nov. 3.
Council approved the minutes of the Oct. 20, 2025 council meeting and an appropriation ordinance numbered 10a dated Oct. 22, 2025 by voice vote.
Staff presented Amendment No. 1 to the agreement with engineering firm JEO, which updates the project calendar and authorizes JEO to proceed with phase 2 design engineering services for the Augusta Public Works campus. The council approved the amendment and authorized City Manager Josh Shaw to sign.
Council also approved a purchase agreement with Prairie Land Partners for a John Deere Gator utility vehicle with a snow removal package. The Gator is budgeted in the 2026 budget and staff said the city will not pay until delivery, expected in January 2026, to ensure use during the winter season.
All routine motions carried by voice vote unless otherwise noted in the record.
