Kenosha — The transit board approved an update to the agency safety plan on Nov. 3, with staff noting the revisions respond to recent audit findings and federal regulatory requirements.
A staff member identified as Tom presented the safety-plan updates and said the changes had been reviewed and approved by the state Department of Transportation. Commissioners asked for a version that shows the specific edits or highlighted changes; staff agreed to provide an extract of the changed portions so commissioners can see what was altered.
A motion to approve the updated safety plan was made, seconded and approved by voice vote. Staff indicated more amendments could arrive in the coming months as compliance requirements evolve and as the agency continues to work with the state reviewer.
