Planning commission continues Woodbridge Court setback hearing to Nov. 17

The continuation was recommended by staff after staff discovered the legal notice for the Nov. 3 hearing was not published in the newspaper within the required time frame. Staff said letters were emailed to surrounding property owners who had been notified of the original Nov. 3 hearing to inform them of the new date.
Commissioner McMahon made the motion to continue the hearing, which was seconded (record indicates the second as Filimon). During the roll call the transcript records affirmative responses from Filimon, O'Flaherty, McMahon and Chair Maxwell; the chair announced the motion passed.
Because the hearing was continued for procedural notice reasons, no substantive testimony or decision on the variance was taken at the Nov. 3 meeting. The matter will return to the commission on Nov. 17 for a full public hearing on the merits.
