Superintendent highlights new-teacher orientation, upcoming openings and urges board to complete USBA master certification

The superintendent told the board the district celebrated more than 120 new teachers at Westfield High School during orientation and thanked the HR department and district directors for organizing the event. The superintendent highlighted two near-term events for the board’s calendars: the opening of a teen center at Westfield and the grand opening of Roosevelt Elementary School. The superintendent also said they will serve as the district representative for 5A and 6A ranks on the Utah High School Activities Board of Trustees and plans to report back to the board after meetings (the first meeting mentioned was Aug. 21).
