South Russell ARB approves resubmitted pool house at 72 Bell Road

The South Russell Village Architectural Review Board on a resubmission approved plans for a new pool house at 72 Bell Road, presented by Ron Offord of Green Lane Builders on behalf of property owner Colleen Valera.

Board members reviewed three outstanding items from the prior submittal, including the placement of a mechanical unit on the right side of a panel, questions about the relationship of the pool house to the size and orientation of the existing house, and the routing of a gas line. Staff and the applicant discussed those points; no public comments were recorded during the agenda item.

After discussion a board member moved to approve the resubmitted pool house plans; the motion was seconded and the board voted in favor.

The approval was recorded as a standard resubmission approval; permitting or specific code clearances for utilities were left to the building department to verify during the permit review.
